In 1892 a branch of the family moved from France to Veneto to create a successful wine company. The family now shares the vision of organic and biodynamic approaches to the vineyard and cellar. Montresor is one of the most prestigious noble families of Europe. In 1600 Count Claude de Montresor was prime counsellor of Duke d'Orleans.
Very deep ruby red with purple tones, it displays aromas of cooked cherries and plums, firm freshness and a leather hint. Full body, warm smoothly dry on the palate, pulpy tannins, persistent and elegant dried fruits and a cinnamon aftertaste.
